ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The main relief sought for by the petitioner before the Central Administrative Tribunal (hereinafter referred to as 'the Tribunal') in O.A.No.251 of 2025, is a challenge to the Charge Memo dated 06/09.12.2024. In the interim application filed therein, he sought for an order of interim injunction, restraining the respondent from conducting the inquiry pursuant to impugned Charge Memo No.VIG/29-35/2021 dated 06/09.12.2024. To the prayer sought for in the interim application, the Tribunal had declined to grant an interim relief through its order dated 20.03.2025, which is impugned in this Writ Petition.
2. Pending the Writ Petition, the interim order was passed on 09.04.2025, which reads as follows:- "When the original order of the Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee, declaring the petitioner's community status as 'bogus' is under challenge before this Court in W.P.No.10354 of 2021 and interim order has also been
passed to refrain the respondent from stopping payment of pension to the petitioner, permitting the Disciplinary Authority to continue with the inquiry and pass final orders therein may not be feasible.
2.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the Disciplinary Authority, not to pass final order pursuant to the Charge Memo dated 09.12.2024. However, the Disciplinary Authority is at liberty to proceed with the inquiry based on the Charge Memo dated 09.12.2024. 3.Ms.V.Sudha, learned Senior Central Government Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and seeks time to file counter.
4.Post the matter on 25.06.2025."

When it was suggested to the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent that the interim order passed by this Court on 09.04.2025 can be continued till the final disposal of the original application in O.A.No.251 of 2025, both the counsels had agreed.
4. In the light of the above observations, the Writ Petition stands
ordered and the impugned order dated 20.03.2025 passed in O.A.No.251 of 2025 by the Central Administrative Tribunal, is hereby quashed with a direction that the interim order passed by this Court on 09.04.2025 in W.P.No.13106 of 2025 and W.M.P.No.14622 of 2025, shall continue until final disposal of O.A.No.251 of 2025. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
