This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.02.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the absolute owner of the land in survey No.16/3A, Muthukalipatti Village measuring 95 cents, and his father's name is Nanjappa Nainar. While so, one Balasubrmanaiam, S/o.Palanisamy and his relatives, using the name similarity of the petitioner, created a false Partition Deed in document No.75 of 2015 on the file of the SRO, Rasipuram in order to grab the property belonging to the petitioner and thus, the said Balasubrmanaiam, S/o.Palanisamy had committed an offence of impersonation and cheating.

Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 15.02.2015 and the respondent police assigned CSR.No.48 of 2015. Till date, there is no progress in the complaint, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent to conduct an enquiry on the complaint dated 15.02.2015 given by the petitioner, if materials gathered indicates commission of any cognizable offence, the respondent is directed to proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible, preferably within a period of two months.
