This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 28.08.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that they are the absolute owner of the land in survey No.250/1 to an extent of 0.66 cents. The counter petitioner Asokan trespassed and

encroached the land of the petitioners. When this was questioned by the petitioners, they were threatened by the said Asokan with dire consequences. Therefore, the petitioners lodged a complaint on 28.08.2015. Till date, no action has been taken by the 3rd respondent, the petitioner filed this petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint was sent by post.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is constrained to pass the following order: "The 1st petitioner is directed to give a fresh copy of the complaint along with a copy of this order to the 3rd respondent, within one week from the date of receipt of this order and on receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to enquire into the matter and proceed further in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months, thereafter." With the above direction, this petition is closed.
