ORDER

This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Additional District Judge & Presiding Officer, Special Court for E.C. & NDPS Act Cases, Salem in D.No.1386 of 2025 dated 13.10.2025.

2. It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.10772 of 2024, this Court by an order dated 25.06.2024, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in Spl.C.C.No.128 of 2022, K.RAJASEKAR, J.

Crl.O.P.No.10772 of 2024 ssi within a period of four months. However, the learned Additional District Judge & Presiding Officer, Special Court for E.C. & NDPS Act Cases, Salem has sent communication dated 13.10.2025 in D.No.1386 of 2025, narrating the sequence of proceedings in Spl.C.C.No.128 of 2022 and sought further period of four months time to complete the trial in the said case.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant further period of four months time to the learned Additional District Judge & Presiding Officer, Special Court for E.C. & NDPS Act Cases, Salem to complete the trial in Spl.C.C.No.128 of 2022 from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
