ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the Respondents to consider the Representation of the petitioner dated 25.09.2023 with regard to illegal sanction of family pension to the 6th respondent.

2. Heard and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner and the 6th respondent are brother and sister. They were born to one Ayyakannu and one Chandrammal. Their father was serving as a Teacher in a Government-Aided Private School and after his retirement, he died on 17.09.2006. Thereafter, their mother was receiving family pension. After their mother's demise, the 6th respondent being a widow and who is dependent on their parents, a proposal has been sent for granting family pension in favour of the 6th respondent. The petitioner, being the brother is objecting the same.

4. Admittedly, the 6th respondent is a widow and the proposal was rightly

ordered for family pension in favour of the 6th respondent. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
