ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register the complaint dated 28.07.2016 given by the petitioner and to file a final report.

2. Heard Dr.G.Krishnamurthy, Party-in-Person and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On the complaint dated 28.07.2016, given by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.78 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent-Police.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1, otherwise the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
