ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a mandamus, directing the respondent to sanction and disburse the educational loan for the petitioner's son, G.Babusaikiran, to pursue M.B.B.S. course for the academic year from the year 2019 to 2024 at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2021. 2.According to the petitioner, his son joined M.B.B.S. course at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Coimbatore, for the academic year from 2019 to 2024 under selffinanced category. The petitioner has submitted a loan application to the respondent on 03.09.2019 with required documents seeking educational loan. Since he was not able to provide collateral security for the loan, the petitioner's loan application was not processed. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 15.05.2021 claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. Hence, this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that a direction be issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits, within a reasonable time to be fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.05.2021 submitted along with required documents and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
