D.Gopinath v. The District Revenue Officer
W.P.No.14328 of 2022 ABDUL QUDDHOSE.J., Learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai, by his letter dated 23.11.2022 addressed to the Registrar General of this Court, has requested for extension of a further period of two months time for disposal of S.C.No.05 of 2019, pending on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai.

Earlier, by order dated 14.06.2022 passed in W.P.No.14328 of 2022, this Court directed the Special Court (Chief Judicial Magistrate) for Prevention of Corruption Act Cases, Tiruvannamalai to complete the Trial and dispose of the case in S.C.No.05 of 2019, as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.
3. The Chief Judicial Magistrate has now submitted that there are still six more witnesses to be examined and on that ground he seeks for a further extension of two months.

4. This Court is satisfied with the reasons given by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai for seeking extension. Accordingly, a further period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order is granted to the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai to dispose of the S.C.No.05 of 2019, pending on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai.
