The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 08.01.2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has given a representation dated 08.01.2025 to the respondent seeking promotion from the post of Assistant Training Officer to Training Officer. He would further submit that he has given a similar representation dated 24.06.2024; however, the same was not considered. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.31486 of 2024 before this Court. Subsequently, this Court, by order dated 25.10.2024, directed the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the appropriate authority. Based on the said liberty, he has given the present representation dated 08.01.2025, and the same is yet to be considered.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the present representation dated 08.01.2025 has not been received by the respondent.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above fact, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondent is directed to consider the same on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks thereafter.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
