ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed for transfer of investigation in Crime No.21 of 2023 pending on the file of the second respondent to the first respondent since there is an enormous delay in filing the final report.

2. The Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the final report had already been filed. To ascertain the same, a report from the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, was called. From the report dated 14.06.2014, this Court finds that the final report in Crime No.21 of 2023 was filed on 29.05.2024 and the same has been taken on file in PRC No.26 of 2024 and the case is posted to 02.07.2024 for service of summons to the accused.

3. In view of the above fact, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to transfer the investigation to some other Agency since the investigation has already been completed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
