(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to ensure that no TASMAC shop is set up in the area in question in contravention of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (Inshops and Bars) Rules, 2003 framed under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1937 or in contravention of the judgment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and order of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal Nos.12164-12166 of 2016 dated 31st March, 2017. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.17643 of 2017 is closed.
