This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.869 of 2017 from the file of the second respondent Police to some other investigation agency.

2. Heard Mr.P.Kalimuthu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that despite the First Information Report has been registered in the year 2018, investigation has not yet conducted by the second respondent Police.

4. In reply the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that the defacto complainant is not cooperating for investigation.

5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that even Page No:2/4

yesterday, i.e., on 29/6/2022, the petitioner was very much present in the Police Station. However, the Investigation Officer has not recorded his statement.

6. In such a view of the matter, the second respondent Police is directed to investigate the matter in the manner known to law and final report shall be filed, as expeditiously as possible, before the Court concerned. The Superintendent of Police, Tiruppur District shall monitor the investigation. 30/6/2022 mvs.
