6 K.SENTHIL AKASH Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to order refund of a sum of Rs.16,720/- paid towards Tamilnadu Court Fees, to the Counsel on record for the Petitioner/Appellant, J.Michael Visuvasam, Advocate(in CMP.NO.10708/2021)pending disposal of the above CMA.NO.1697/2021.

Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and

upon hearing the arguments of MR.J.MICHAEL VISUVASAM, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- This petition had been filed seeking to refund a sum of Rs.16,720/- paid towards Tamilnadu Court fee.

2. According to the petitioner, by inadvertence, the Tamilnadu Court fee for a sum of Rs.16,720/- was remitted through online ECourt fee payment system instead of paying Puducherry Court fee for the said sum. Subsequently, the petitioner has correctly paid Puducherry Court fee for Rs.16,720/-. Now, the learned counsel seeks refund the amount of Rs.16,720/- paid towards Tamilnadu Court fees.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is ordered as prayed for.

4. The Registry is directed to refund a sum of Rs.16,720/- to the learned counsel on record for the petitioner/appellant. -sd/- 23/07/2021 / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar ( Statistics / C.S. ) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
