O R D E R
The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to hold an enquiry on the basis of the direction passed by this Court on 08.06.2015 in Crl.O.P.No.13627 of 2015.
2. The petitioner is running a petty shop in GST Road, Tambaram and he has given a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- to one Ramalingam and when the petitioner demanded the said amount, the said Ramalingam sent rowdy elements and attacked him. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 31.01.2015 and since no action was taken by the respondent, he filed Crl.O.P.No.13627 of 2015. On 08.06.2015, this Court directed the respondent police to conduct an enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and to register the case, if any cognizable offence is made out. Since no enquiry was conducted even after the direction issued by this Court, the petitioner came forward to file this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the first respondent.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the whereabouts of the counter petitioner was not known, the respondent was not able to conduct the enquiry and now that the respondents have traced the whereabouts of the counter petitioner, they will proceed with the enquiry very shortly.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the opinion that no further order is required in this petition. Hence, recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
