Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in e/f/vz;/4286/vd;1/2020 dated 06.03.2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequential to direct the first 1/4

respondent to regularize the service of the petitioner w.e.f., 28.07.2000 i.e., from the date of joining in the regular post as Animal Husbandry Assistant and direct the respondents to sanction increment w.e.f., 28.07.2001 with all consequential service and monetary benefits taking into account of order made in W.A.No.1271 of 2012 dated 23.04.2014 and in the light of G.O.Ms.No.185 Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (AH6) Department dated 22.09.2015 and in the light of order made in W.P.(MD)Nos.18885 to 18887 of 2016 dated 03.10.2016 and in the light of G.O.Ms.No.38, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (AH6) Department dated 05.03.2018 to similarly placed persons within the period that may be stipulated by this Court and pass such further orders. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has passed away in the year 2023.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted a copy of the death certificate issued by the Registrar (Birth & Death), Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital, vide Registration Number : D-2023:33-16187-004190 dated 17.03.2024 stating that the 2/4

petitioner passed away on 09.11.2023 and the same is recorded.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsels on either side, the writ petition stands dismissed as abated. No costs.
