ORDER

This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of Cr.No.459 of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein,to the file of the Superintendent, CBCID, Vellore or any other competent investigating agency for proper investigation and report before the competent court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. On a complaint lodged by Venkatesan, the petitioner herein, the respondent police have registered a case in Cr.No.459 of 2015 on 01.09.2015 under Section 302 IPC and investigation was taken up.

During the course of investigation, one person by name Haribalan, has been arrested by the police. The petitioner is the father of the deceased and it is his grievance that, the investigation is not proceeding on the right lines, as the Police Officers are not pursuing other accused in this case.

4. This Court finds that the FIR has been registered only on 01.09.2015 and one accused has been arrested. Under such circumstances, it will serve the interest of justice, if the Deputy Superintendent of Police under whose jurisdiction Arakkonam Town Police Station falls, is directed to monitor the investigation in Arakkonam Town Police Station Cr.No.459 of 2015.
