The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.09.2016 and not to entertain any nomination of the respondents 4 to 8 or their family members for the forthcoming Local Body elections 2-16 in view of the resolution passed by the third respondent in resolution No.406 dated 30.11.2015.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. He also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are Page No.3 of 5
