ORDER
Heard Mr.R.Rajamani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.
2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents from granting permission to any other political parties or any other persons for staging political meeting or cultural functions in front of the petitioner house.
3.According to the petitioner, periodically the respondents have been granting permission to conduct political meeting and cultural functions in front of the petitioner's house preventing him from entering into the house and on account of the loud noise and other problems, there is a nuisance caused to the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 05.09.2014 to the respondents not to grant any such permission. The said representation is pending before the respondents. 4.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
