Prayer in WP.No.2492/2015:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus respondents to dispose the petitioner's representation made on 04.12.2014 and consider to issue patta in his favour bearing Door No.1/259 situated in Natham survey No.574/12 at Kunnathur village, Ulundurpettai Taluk, Villupuram District.

Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, GA COMMON ORDER Heard Mr.G.Ranganathan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents in the above writ petitions and with their consent, the writ petitions are disposed of at the admission stage itself. Since the issue involved in these writ petition is common, the above petitions are disposed of by the following common order. 2.The petitioners have come up with the above writ petitions seeking a direction to the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioners in respect of the properties situated in Survey Nos.262/1 and 574/12 in Attur and Kunnathur village, Ulundurpettai Taluk, Villupuram District by considering their representations dated 04.12.2014.
3.The properties in question, according to the petitioners, is a Natham land. Therefore, the petitioners seek for grant of patta. This Court, exercising jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India cannot compel the respondents to grant patta in respect of the Government land and it is for the respondents to take note of the Government orders and act in accordance with law. 4.Hence, while disposing of the writ petitions, liberty is granted to the petitioners to pursue their representations dated 04.12.2014 before the respondents herein, which shall be considered by the concerned authority in accordance with law.
