This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to F.I.R in Crime No.70 of 2024 dated 06.02.2024 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police on instructions submitted that after completion of investigation in Crime No.70 of 2024, charge sheet was filed through e-filing on 20.09.2024 vide e-filing No.LTN20230000018C2400275 before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore. Since the first respondent-Police has completed the investigation and filed the charge sheet before the magistrate concerned, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.

4. In view of the same, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
