Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 3 to consider the representation dated 21.04.2016, 06.04.2016 and 17.03.2016 respectively made by the petitioner and also and dispose of the same in accompanying with law within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that he approached the respondents 2 and 3 seeking information as to whether the SLR dated 13.08.2014 and the corrections has been made therein with regard to the Survey Numbers in the villages Arasur and Mambakkam in Cheyyur Taluk, are correct and bona fide and he has not been furnished with any information and therefore, he approached the 1st respondent in the form of representation dated 21.04.2016 and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner is constrained to approach this Court, by filing the present writ petition.

Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner ; Mr.Niranjan Rajagopal, learned counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Addtitional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 21.04.2016, if the papers are otherwise in order and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
