Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for R1 and Ms.K.Indhumathy Venkatesh, learned counsel accepts notice for R2 and they are armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ petition, even at the stage of admission.

The petitioner's prayer is for a mandamus simplicitor directing the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2022 for grant of conditional patta or assignment order in relation to the land and building at Door No.39(17-1A2 and 17-2A1), Kodambakkam High Road, Dr.MGR Salai, Chennai - 600 034 comprised in T.S.No.4828/3 of Mambalam Village (in short 'property'/'property in question').
3. The petitioner sets out various factual averments in regard to his claim for conditional patta/assignment order in respect of the property in question.
4. Being a matter coming under writ jurisdiction and in light of the prayer, which is for disposal of representation, this Court finds no necessity to 2/4
look into the factual matrix which is at best left to the authorities to consider in proper perspective.
5. Ms.Indhumathy, learned counsel for R2, to whom the representation is addressed (acknowledgement card is placed on file) would confirm that the representation has been received and she would assure the Court that the same would be considered and disposed on merits and in accordance with law expeditiously.
6. Hence, mandamus is issued directing R2 to hear the petitioner as well as any other parties, who is thought fit and necessary, and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.12.2022 within a period of six (6) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. This Writ Petition is disposed as above. No costs. Connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
