The petitioner-wife is seeking for transfer the HMOP.No.54/2015 filed by the respondent husband from the file of the learned Subordinate Judge, Tambaram to the file of the learned Family Court Judge at Puducherry.

The case of the petitioner-wife is that with a view to harass her, the respondent husband has filed a divorce petition in HMOP.No.54/2015 before the learned Subordinate Judge, Tambaram. Further, the petitioner is a permanent resident of Puducherry and she finds it difficult to attend the matrimonial proceedings at Tambaram which is about 150 kms. from Puducherry along with her child. The petitioner has also got no means to meet the travel expenses. Hence, she prays to transfer the matrimonial proceedings to the Family Court, Puducherry. 3.

In view of all the above, the H.M.O.P.No.54 of 2015 is transferred from the file of the Subordinate Judge, Tambaram, to the file of the Family Court, Puducherry. No costs.
