This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 20.08.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2.It is stated in the petition that the petitioner is residing at 200 Post Office Road, Near Sooramangalam Ulavar Santhai, Sooramangalam, Salem District. In the above said property, the petitioner along with her family members are residing at first floor and the ground floor has been leased out to one R.S.Mani for a shop. The petitioner requested the said R.S.Mani to vacate the premises, but he refused to vacate the premises. filthy language and also threatened her. Hence, the petitioner made a complaint before the respondent police and the said complaint has been taken on file as C.S.R.No.413 of 2015. Since no action has been taken by the respondent police, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

4.The dispute is only between the landlord and the tenant. Hence, the prayer sought for in the petitioner cannot be entertained by this Court, since the dispute is civil in nature. However, since already CSR number has been assigned, the 1st respondent is directed to enquire into the matter and dispose of the complaint as early as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks.
