The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to forbear the respondents not to disturb the fishing leasehold rights by virtue of leasehold award passed on 02.03.2016 valid for one year in Kizhputhur canal belongs to the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Even as per the relief sought for in the present writ petition, the lease period is for one year with effect from 02.03.2016. The period expired long back and after the expiry of the lease period, the respondents are bound to conduct open public auction for awarding fishing rights through lease or otherwise. 2.This being the factum, the relief sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance and the cause do not exists.
