Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the concerned records relating to the order of the third respondent dated 28.06.2013 transferring and posting the fifth respondent as BT Assistant in English in the fourth respondent Union, to quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to promote the petitioner as BT Assistant in English and post the petitioner in the place of the fifth respondent.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the concerned records relating to the order of the third respondent dated 28.06.2013 transferring and posting the fifth respondent as BT Assistant in English in the fourth respondent Union, to quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to promote the petitioner as BT Assistant in English and post the petitioner in the place of the fifth respondent. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already been promoted to the post of B.T.Assistant in English. Since already the petitioner has been promoted, now nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
