By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the

respondents to provide Domestic Electricity connection to the petitioners newly Constructed house situated at Door No.6 Kalaignar Street, Srinivasa nagar, Kallikuppam, Ambattur, Chennai 600 053 comprised in S. no 773/ 2A1A to an extent of 1184 Sq.ft., Korattur Village, Kallikuppam, Chennai by considering the petitioners application representation dated 16.03.2026

3. It is case of the petitioner that the petitioner has purchased the subject property vide sale deed and now, the petitioner has constructed a new house. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the petitioner has not been provided with electricity collection despite the adjacent land owners have been provided with electricity connection. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation/application on 16.03.2026 which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition. 4.Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the third respondent to consider the application/representation of the petitioner dated 16.03.2026 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
