ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioner's online application dated 26.09.2024, submitted before the respondent authorities, seeking issuance of ST Kurumans community certificate, based on the community certificate dated 16.12.2025, issued in the name of petitioner's sister Ms. Sagunthala.

2. Learned State Counsel submitted that though online application was submitted on 26.09.2024, the documents, as demanded by the authorities, were filed only on 23.09.2025, and at present, inquiry is going on. Learned State Counsel further submitted that the authorities would pass an order in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that the application is still pending for more than 11⁄2 years, we direct the respondent to decide the same in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible,

preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, and pass a reasoned and speaking order.

4. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
