Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to issue joint patta for the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition in the name of the petitioner and the legal heirs of his co-purchaser late K.R.Shanmugam in the light of the order dated 22.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P. No.3451 of 2013.

2.The petitioner has filed supporting documents in support of his application seeking for issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner and the legal heirs of his co-purchaser. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same. The petitioner had given a representation on 28.08.2025 to the respondents requesting for issuance of joint patta as stated supra. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the

petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6.Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2025 seeking for issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner and the legal heirs of his co-purchaser late K.R.Shanmugam in respect of the property, morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner as well as the order dated 22.08.2022 passed by this Court in W.P. No.3451 of 2013 and after hearing all the necessary parties, which include the parties in whose name presently the patta stands, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
