This petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Cr.No.471 of 2010.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against the unknown persons for the alleged offence under Section 380 of IPC. Though the said complaint was registered on 03.05.2010 in Crime No.471/2010, for the past five years, there is no progress in the investigation. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.471 of 2010 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
