This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 08.09.2015.

2.It is stated that the petitioner is residing at No.18/105, Pillaiar Koil street, Gobichettipalayam, Erode District. One Kiruba @ Kirubakaran, who is a drunkard, often used to abuse the petitioner in a drunken mood along with her mother and daily they used to throw the brandy bottle in the toilet of the petitioner. When the petitioner questioned the same, they attacked the petitioner. On 07.09.2015, they attacked the petitioner and her mother. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police and the same was assigned as C.S.R.No.657 of 2015. So far, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, this present criminal original petition has been filed.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter was compromised between the parties and also the statements of the petitioner as well as Kiruba @ Kirubakaran were recorded.
