This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Principal Sub Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate (F.A.C.), Cuddalore District, Cuddalore in D.No.2126 of 2020 dated 01.12.2020.

It is seen from the records that while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.12102 of 2019, this Court by an order dated 30.04.2019, directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.113 of 2018 (renumbered as C.C.No.73 of 2019), within a period of six months. However, the learned Principal Sub Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate (F.A.C.), Cuddalore District, Cuddalore, has sent a communication dated 01.12.2020 in D.No.2126 of 2020, narrating the sequence of proceedings in C.C.No.73 of 2019 and sought further period of six months time to complete the trial in the said case.
