praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to include the petitioners' names in the regular panel for the post of Assistant for the year 2016-2017 dated 06.09.2016 published in proceedings No.R.No.40225/E4/S2/2016-1 dated 06.09.2016 passed by the second respondent and consequently direct the second respondent to promote the petitioners to the post of Assistants for the year 2016-2017 with all consequential monetary and other service benefits. O R D E R

The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents, furnished the copy of the proceedings of the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, dated 20.09.2018.

2. In the said proceedings, the names of the writ petitioners were included in the Regular Panel for the post of Assistant by promotion for the year 2015-2016. Accordingly, both the writ petitioners were promoted to the post of Assistant.

3. Since the grievance of the writ petitioners had already been redressed, no further adjudication is required in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
