Respondent Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2016 and thereby direct the respondent to sponsor the name of the petitioner for any of the vacant post in the government department based upon the educational qualification of the petitioner within a period of time.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. Mr.K.Dhananjayan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

2. The petitioner claims that he belongs to backward class community and he has successfully completed B.A., English Literature and due to his family circumstances, he could not pursue his higher education and he eke out his livelihood by doing temporary job and earning paltry income. In this regard, he has also submitted a representation dated 15.11.2016 to the respondent pointing out that he got registered with them in Registration No.CHD2006M00009711 dated 01.08.2006. Though ten years had lapsed, he is yet to receive any call letter. Therefore, prays for appropriate orders requesting the said official to issue call letter for his accommodation in any post in commensurate with his educational qualification. petitioner's representation was received and acknowledged by the respondent, it is yet to be given disposal. Hence, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Dhananjayan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4.Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
