This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents not to harass the petitioner herein and her family members under the guise of enquiry, pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 25.10.2021.
2. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents police harassing the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the
respondents 1 to 3 on instructions submitted that there is a complaint pending against the petitioner.
4. Such being the position, it is for the Investigating Agency to issue appropriate notice to the petitioner for enquiry and on such notice, the petitioner shall appear for enquiry and co-operate with the investigation. After enquiring the petitioner, the Police may either register a complaint, if any cognizable offence is made out or close the complaint.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
