By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner, claims to be Dharmakartha of Sri Magasakthi Mariamman Temple, situate at K.Bandharapalli Village, Nattrampalli Taluk, Vellore District.
He submitted a representation/application dated 28.05.2016 to the respondent, seeking permission to conduct a cultural program on 06.06.2016, in connection with the temple festival, which includes song and dance programme and since, he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that in the event of permission being granted to conduct the song and dance programme, there will not be any law, order or communal problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there and hence, prays for appropriate orders. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.V.S.Ramesh, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
5. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the application/representation, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's application/representation dated 28.05.2016, in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 05.06.2016 and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner forthwith.
