O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation of F.I.R. in Crime No.86 of 2022 from the file of 2nd respondent to the file of 1st respondent.

2. The main allegation is that the 2nd respondent has not conducted the investigation. Whereas, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor submitted that the 2nd respondent has conducted enquiry and five witnesses were already examined.

3. Such being the position, merely because there is some delay, it cannot be a ground for transfer. Hence, the question of transferring the investigation does not arise at all. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the 2nd respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible.
