O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Transfer Petition with a request to withdraw the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.3383 of 2015, pending on the file of the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, and to transfer the same to the Family Court, Puducherry.

The matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. The parties have settled the matter by mediation. The Mediation Agreement, dated 3rd October, 2016, indicates the Terms of Settlement.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that, pursuant to the Settlement, the parties have already filed a Joint Petition for Divorce before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai. The respondent has agreed to withdraw the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.3383 of 2015.

The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the respondent would withdraw the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.3383 of 2015, pending before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai.

Since the parties have settled the matter, as evident by the Mediation Agreement, dated 03.10.2016, nothing survives for adjudication in this Transfer Petition. The Mediation Agreement, dated 03.10.2016, shall form part of the record.

The Transfer Petition is closed, with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
