Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to survey the lands in R.S.No.941/1, Elumathur Village, Modakurichi Taluk, Erode District, based on the request made by the third respondent which has been intimated by communication dated 16.02.2022 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.V.Balamurugan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

2. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that survey was conducted and in the said survey, no encroachment was found on the said land in R.S.No.941/1.

3. The request of the petitioner was to conduct survey on the land in R.S.No.941/1. As per the submissions of the learned State Government Pleader, survey has already been conducted.

4. In view of that, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
