ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to forbear the respondents 3 and 4 to carry out any corrections in the revenue records, which relates to Survey No.22/8A situated at Su.Pappampadi Village, Thiruvannamalai Taluk and District, pending disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner before the first respondent.

2. Even though the aforesaid relief has been sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would now restrict the prayer of the petitioner only for early disposal of the petitioner's appeal dated 13.03.2026 pending on the file of the first respondent.

3. Learned counsel for the fifth respondent has also not raised any serious objection to issue a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents has also not raised any objection to issue such a direction by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal dated 13.03.2026.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's appeal dated 13.03.2026 after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent and any other third party, whom the first respondent deems fit to enquire by adhering to the principles of natural justice within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 21-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order gm
