petitioner's plot measuring an extent of 3417 sq.ft. comprised in Grama Natha Survey No.956/1B2, Arunthathiyar Street, Palacode Town Panchayat, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 13.09.2019, 14.03.2023 and online application vide challan No.20230213008188 and to effect consequent mutation of title in revenue records within the time stipulated by this Court.

Prayer in WP.13805/2023 :- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing to the respondents to carry out survey and measurement and fix the boundaries in respect of the petitioner's plot, as per the petitioner's sale deed dated 31.12.2002 registered as document No.2175 of 2002 SRO Palacode and grant patta to the petitioner in respect of the petitioner's plot measuring an extent of 902 sq.ft. comprised in Grama Natha Survey No.956/1B2 Arunthathiyar Street, Placode Town Panchayat, Palacode Taluk, Dharmapuri District by considering the Petitioner's representations dated 30.09.2019, 04.01.2023, 04.03.2023 and online application vide challan dated 04.03.2023 bearing No.20230304001367 and effect consequent mutation of title in revenue records within the time stipulated by this Court.

COMMON ORDER The relief sought in the present writ petitions are to carry out survey and measurement and fix the boundaries in respect of the petitioners' plot, as per their respective sale deed.

2.The grievances of the writ petitioner is that he purchased the subject property in the year 1991 and patta has not been granted in his favour. The petitioner has also not filed an appropriate application for long time.

3.This being the factum, the petitioner is at liberty to submit an application under the provisions of the Patta Passbook Act, 1983, and in the event of receiving any such application, the competent authority under the act shall conduct an inquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law by following the procedures contemplated and by affording opportunity to the parties.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. (sha) 14.06.2023 Index : Yes Speaking Order 3/4
