ORDER

This petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to register a case on the complaint given by the petitioner on 14.09.2015 before the first respondent and to file a final report within a stipulated period.

2.The petitioner is at present living with her parents. Her marriage with one Teekaraman was solemnized on 08.02.2008 and due to the wedlock, the petitioner gave birth to two female children namely, Kaviya aged about 7 years and Priyadharshini aged about 5 years. Whileso, to the shock and surprise of the petitioner, her husband has developed illegal intimacy with one Poongodi and started to hate the petitioner and her children. When the petitioner enquired about the same, her husband did not give any proper reply and on 31.07.2015, the petitioner's husband under the instigation of his mother and the said Poongodi demanded her to put signature in a bond paper for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consenting divorce and he also used filthy language against the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 14.09.2015, but no action was taken so far. Hence, this petition.

3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. 4.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the respondents to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 14.09.2015 given by the petitioner and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5.With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
