ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to give necessary direction to the second respondent to register the complaint dated 19.05.2014.

2. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner has given certain amounts to the persons mentioned in the complaint and subsequently the same have not been returned. Under such circumstances, the petitioner has given a complaint dated 19.05.2014, but the second respondent has not registered the same and therefore, present petition has been filed for getting the relief sought therein.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has not made his appearance.

4. Considering the nature of allegations made in the complaint and also considering the fact that the second respondent has not registered the same, even though the same has been given on 19.05.2014, the following direction can be given to the second respondent:

"In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The second respondent is strictly directed to look into the complaint dated 19.05.2014 and if any cognizable offences are made out, further directed to take appropriate steps as per law."
