ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 3 rd respondent to receive and register the Rectification Deed dated 29.03.2025 executed in favour of the petitioner.

2.Heard Mr.K.Sharath Chandran, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.

3.The petitioner had earlier filed W.P.No.5310 of 2025 seeking for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner. This writ petition was allowed by an order dated 19.02.2025. Pursuant to this order, a survey was conducted and an order was passed by the Tahsildar on 14.03.2025. It was found on the field, there was a lesser extent of property than what was mentioned in the Sale Deed. In view of the same, the petitioner took steps for execution of a Rectification Deed and when the Rectification

3/5 Deed dated 29.03.2025 was presented for registration, the same was kept pending and it was not registered. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to entertain the Rectification Deed and register the same, if it is otherwise in order.
