Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 225 of Cthe Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to issue an F.I.R against the respondents 3 to 7 in which the attrocities committed by them of the crime against the petitioner to be booked under section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act 1998, read with Sec.294 IPC, 509 IPC, 354A IPC and 355 IPC or any othe relevant section of IPC etc. added. O R D E R

This writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to enquire the complaint by the petitioner dated 22.07.2015 vide CSR No.500 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent and consequently to register the FIR for the offence committed by Mr.Seethapathy @ Raja and 4 others.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.500 of 2015 before the second respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
