The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to register the complaint dated 05.10.2015 and consequently, take action as per law against the accused persons.

2. In the petition, it has been stated that the petitioner and one A.G.Srinivasan are friends. The said A.G.Srinivasan has committed the offence of theft and several cases have been pending against him. In the meanwhile, the said A.G.Srinivasan along with some other persons have committed theft at Karur. Since the petitioner was close friend of A.G.Srinivasan, he has been implicated in the said offence. Now the petitioner wanted to terminate his friendship, but the said A.G.Srinivasan compelled him to join with him in committing offence of theft. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint on 05.10.2015. Since no action has been taken on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, he has come forward with the present petition.

3.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4.Considering the averments made in the complaint, this Court cannot give a direction to the respondents to enquire into the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 05.10.2015. Accordingly, the present criminal original petition is dismissed.
