Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioners' representation dated 02.01.2017 and reminder representation dated 23.06.2017 in the light of Government Order dated 19.09.2005 made in G.O.Ms.No.183 Co-operative food and Consumer CP2 department to issue Patta in favour of the petitioner name in bearing S.No.613/2B with extents of 2.09 hectare which is situated in Siruvachur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District belongs to the petitioners.

COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petitions to issue a writs of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider their representation dated 02.01.2017 and reminder dated 23.06.2017 in the light of Government Order dated 19.09.2005 made in G.O.Ms.No.183, Co-operative food and Consumer CP2 Department to issue Patta in favour of the petitioners name in respect of S.No.613/2B measured at an extent of 2.09 hectare situated in Siruvachur Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that in spite of the petitioners' representations dated 02.01.2017 for the issuance of patta in the light of the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.183, dated 19.09.2005, the same has not been considered by the 2nd respondent so far. 3.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents 1 & 2 may be directed to consider the petitioners' representations in accordance with law and pass orders, within a time frame.

4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petitions, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioners' representations dated 02.01.2017 and reminder dated 23.06.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
