This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to give police protection based on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.04.2019.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a complaint dated 29.01.2018. One Mr.Kalyana Sundaram and K.Vasantha threatened the Surveyor. So, the Tahsildar has requested to make a complaint and to give Police Protection for the purpose of surveying the land peacefully.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the the petitioner seeks police protection for measuring and fencing his land.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry with the petitioner and the counter party and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
