By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.Heard Mr.K.Rajasekaran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondent University to consider his representation dated 05.05.2014, so that he will be enable him to join a new Guide.

4. There was a complaint against the petitioner by one Vidya and an enquiry is said to have been conducted and findings are awaited. The fourth respondent who was a Guide, has lodged a complaint against the petitioner. In the above circumstances, the petitioner would submit that some other Guide may be nominated to him and representation with is regard is pending.

5. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Though the fourth respondent has been served and her name is printed in the cause list, none appears for the fourth respondent.

6. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contention, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.05.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
