ORDER

This petition is filed for direction to the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint at 11.09.2015 on the file of the respondent and take action on the petitioner's complaint.

2.The petitioner would state that the petitioner has filed suit for partition of the family properties against the family members namely, Selvaraj, Ilavarasan, Chandrasekaran, Anbalagan and Kalaichelvan in O.S.No.200 of 2014 and the said case is pending on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge, Chidambaram. Whileso, on 03.09.2015 around midnight when the members of the petitioner's family were sleeping in their house the petitioner's brothers led by Selvaraj knocked the doors and shouted the petitioner to come out of the house and threatened him with dire consequences. The petitioner was also attacked by Selvaraj and others. Hence, he lodged a complaint with the respondent police on 04.09.2015, but no action was taken hence, he lodged another complaint on 11.09.2015, but till date no action was taken. Hence, this petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case has been registered in Crime No.196 of 2015 for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 506(ii) and 379 IPC. 4.Recording the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed as nothing survives for adjudication.
